Username reuse is the OSINT investigator's best friend. People recycle handles across forums, gaming platforms, and side projects going back a decade.
Run the target through WhatsMyName (it has the cleanest signal-to-noise of the username enumerators in 2026), then manually verify each hit. Half of automated matches are false positives or squatters.
From confirmed accounts, pivot on email patterns, profile photos (reverse image search), writing style, and timezone of activity. Document everything in a Maltego graph so links become visible.
